Venture Capital 2.0. investment in New Media Wave
The bankruptcy process of Marquard Media Polska led by trustee Aleksandra Kondracka – Strynkiewicz has ended with the sale of the company.
Venture Capital 2.0 became the new owner of the brands belonging to the publishing house.
All of MMP’s websites will operate under the New Media Wave banner as of July 1, 2024.
The new owner took over not only the digital titles, but also all employees.
“Operating in bankruptcy for almost 4 years was not an easy task, but thanks to the determination and great commitment of the employees, we managed to complete this difficult process successfully.
I am relieved, but also very satisfied that our services have found a new owner, who has not only retained all full-time positions, but plans to revitalize and further develop our titles,” comments Joanna Mroczkowska.
Venture Capital 2.0 currently owns the sites: Kozaczek.pl, Papilot.pl, Zeberka.pl, Supermamy.pl, Ckm.pl and Autostuff.pl. The company intends to subsidize and develop the titles. Editorial teams will be expanded in the near future. Venture Capital 2.0 is a fund that invests in start-ups and so-called distressed assets.
